Katy Erin is an actor, writer, producer, model, and musical artist based in Los Angeles.  Currently she is best known for playing "Edison" on GAL PALS, a YouTube comedy series which in its first season alone has already garnered 20 thousand subscribers and over a million channel views.  She also recently made her network television debut recurring as "Megan Dorn" opposite Natalia Tena and Jeremy Piven on the CBS procedural drama WISDOM OF THE CROWD.

Earlier this year, she starred in the short film Hello Goodbye, which premiered as part of Outfest LA before screening in LGBT film festivals worldwide. Upcoming film credits include People With Issues, written and directed by Dan Siegelstein; Those Empty Eyes, written and directed by Steve Darby, and Emergency Contact, written by Katy and directed by Tyler Winther.

In 2016, she combined all her artistic endevours into one passion project and wrote, produced, and starred in the sci-fi musical comedy The Cure to Mortality.  The show premiered as part of the 2016 Hollywood Fringe Festival, and was hailed by reviewers as "entertaining from beginning to end" and "dark comedy at its finest."  In 2018, she'll be adapting the show to be made into a feature film.

As a model, she's made multiple appearences in Vogue Italia, walked in LA Fashion Week, and represented clientele ranging from the genderless Stuzo Clothing to the flirty femininity of Married and Bright lingerie.

A Texas native, Katy graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012 with a bachelor of science in radio-television-film, where she focused her studies on writing for the screen and interactive media.
