Katy Erin is a writer, actor, and model based in Los Angeles. Currently she can be seen starring in the new original series Gal Pals (available now for streaming), and in the short Hello Goodbye, which just had its world premiere as part of the Outfest Los Angeles LGBT Film Festival.
For three years she's worked under Ted Humphrey's development banner Algorithm Entertainment, assisting in the development and production of television shows such as Incoporated for Syfy and Wisdom of the Crowd for CBS. During this time, she's written and produced a few projects of her own, including The Cure to Mortality, a comedy musical stageplay that debuted at the 2016 Hollywood Fringe Festival, and Emergency Contact, a short film currently in post-production. Both of these featured Katy in leading roles as well.
As a model, she has appeared in editorials for Vogue Italia, Fashion Grunge, and Last Daze, among others, as well as having walked in LA Fashion Week. Known for her androgynous appeal, her clientele ranges from the sleek menswear of RB Manville to the genderless Stuzo Clothing to the fun femininity of Married and Bright lingerie.
A Texas native, Katy graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012 with a bachelor of science in radio-television-film, where she focused her studies on writing for the screen and interactive media.
