Katy Erin is an actor, writer, and model based in Los Angeles. Currently she is best known for playing "Edison" on GAL PALS, a YouTube comedy series which in its first season alone has already garnered 20 thousand subscribers and over a million channel views. She also recently made her network television debut recurring as "Megan Dorn" opposite Natalia Tena and Jeremy Piven on the CBS procedural drama WISDOM OF THE CROWD.
Earlier this year, she starred in the short film Hello Goodbye, which premiered as part of the Outfest Film Festival in LA before screening in LGBT film festivals worldwide. Upcoming film credits include People With Issues, written and directed by Dan Siegelstein; Those Empty Eyes, written and directed by Steve Darby, and Emergency Contact, written by Katy and directed by Tyler Winther.
Last year, she made her playwriting debut with The Cure to Mortality, a science-fiction musical comedy that premiered as part of the 2016 Hollywood Fringe Festival, and which reviewers called "entertaining from beginning to end" and "dark comedy at its finest."
As a model, she has appeared in editorials for Vogue Italia, Fashion Grunge, and Last Daze, among others, as well as having walked in LA Fashion Week. Known for her androgynous appeal, her clientele ranges from the sleek menswear of RB Manville to the genderless Stuzo Clothing to the fun femininity of Married and Bright lingerie.
A Texas native, Katy graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012 with a bachelor of science in radio-television-film, where she focused her studies on writing for the screen and interactive media.
